Complete the cycle - buy recycled products!
Most eco-savvy folks know that the recycling industry faces a problem - while recycling efforts are increasing, the market for these materials is not developing at the same rate. Enter Recycline and the Preserve brand - a fresh line of home goods made from recycled polypropylene (that's #5) plastic. So now, those containers you keep throwing in the recycling bin are seeing new life. What's more - Preserve products are designed to be recycled yet again - they turn their used toothbrush and razor handles into plastic lumber (like you see in picnic tables and park benches). They even provide a postage-paid mailer to send back used Preserve products. Recycline also has a partnership with Stonyfield Farms. Stonyfield offers their customers the chance to send their clean, used yogurt cups back to be recycled, if facilities don't exist in the customer's region. Stonyfield has their cups ground into pellets and it is the plastic pellets that Recycline uses to melt and mold into the handles of their Preserve Toothbrushes, Tongue Cleaners and Preserve Razors.
You may send CLEAN Stonyfield Farm yogurt containers directly to Stonyfield Farm at:
