History of GreenePaths.com
Greenerpaths.com was founded by Heloisa Kinder, in Davis California in 2005. She has studied and practiced yoga for over 10 years. She firmly believes that small positive changes in our daily routines can have a dramatic impact on our lives and our environment. She has recently taken her practice back to her native Brazil where she met and formed partnerships with like minded yoga enthusiasts who share her interest in health, respect for the environment, and socially conscious business practices.
Our Logo
GreenerPaths' logo was inspired by the African Andinkra symbol known Sesa Woruban, from Ghana in West Africa. Like all Andinkra symbols, Sesa Worubun has a message, which is "I change or transform my life", which reflects GreenerPaths' philosophy. The Sesa Woruban symbol combines two separate Adinkra symbols, the "Morning Star" which can mean a new start to the day, placed inside the wheel, representing independent movement.
